I had a lovely stay at the Summerland Resort. The lakeview studio suite was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the location was fabulous, just a short drive from Penticton. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local dining and wineries. However, the dining options were a bit limited since the restaurant was closed during my stay, making it necessary to rely on takeout. Overall, a peaceful getaway with beautiful views and a friendly atmosphere.

The lakeview studio suite was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything I needed, including a full kitchen. It was a bit cold in the afternoon despite not leaving the door open, but overall it was a nice space.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, always happy to help with suggestions for activities and providing blankets for chilly evenings by the fireplace.

The location was great, with stunning views and a nearby walking trail behind the KVR that offered incredible scenery. It was also just a short drive to Penticton, making it convenient for exploring wineries.
Dining

While the restaurant was closed during my stay, I ordered pizza and made use of the full kitchen in my suite. It would have been great if there were more supplies available for cooking.
Facilities

The resort's facilities, including the hot tub, were enjoyable, especially since we had it mostly to ourselves. The beach area and walking paths enhanced the overall experience.

I had a lovely stay at the resort, which boasts a stunning lakeside view and access to a charming little beach. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, though the layout was a bit unusual and the pricing felt high for what was offered. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made my experience much more pleasant. However, the dining options were limited, and there was no adult-only pool area for a more relaxed vibe.

The rooms were clean and well-equipped, offering a cozy atmosphere with a lovely view of the lake. However, the unusual layout made getting to the room a bit of a trek.

The staff was friendly and provided helpful service, including treating my dogs with snacks when we returned from our walks.
Location

The resort is perfectly located on the quiet lakefront, allowing for easy walks along the picturesque boardwalk and quick access to nearby wineries.
Dining

Dining options were somewhat limited, especially with the on-site restaurant closing early. It would have been nice to have more choices available.
Facilities

Facilities included a nice pool and hot tub area; however, more sun umbrellas around the pool would have been appreciated due to the heat.

My stay at the Summerland Waterfront Resort was a delightful experience overall. The friendly and accommodating staff made my visit enjoyable, and the spotless rooms with stunning lakefront views added to the charm. However, I did find the noise from the heating system in my room to be disruptive at times, which affected my sleep. Still, the location and amenities were great for a relaxing getaway.

Our stay was a mix of enjoyable moments and some concerns. The location is absolutely perfect, right by the lake and away from the main road, making it a relaxing retreat. While the rooms were quite clean and offered lovely views, my experience with the front desk was less than ideal. They were dismissive regarding some issues we encountered, which was disappointing. Overall, a great place for families, just with some room for improvement in service.

The service was where we encountered some issues. While the staff seemed friendly, our concerns about the bats were not taken seriously, which left us unsatisfied.

I had an enjoyable stay at this quaint hotel in Summerland, but it wasn't without its issues. The location is fantastic, offering beautiful views of the lake, and the room was spacious and equipped with a full kitchen. However, noise from kids and some maintenance problems, like flooding and a noisy bathroom fan, detracted from the experience. Overall, while the value wasn't quite there due to these setbacks, the atmosphere and views were lovely.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and came with a full kitchen, which was a nice touch. However, it was often invaded by gnats due to nearby equipment.
Service

The staff were pleasant and helpful, but there were a few lapses in attention to detail.
Location
